I-care Group appoints Bruno Colmant as an independent director
Mons (Belgium), 19 May 2022 – I-care Group, the world leader in machine health, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bruno Colmant as an independent non-executive director.
Between 2015 and 2022, Bruno Colmant was a member of the Executive Committee of Bank Degroof Petercam, of which he became CEO in 2019.
From 1996 to 2006, Mr. Colmant was active at ING, where he was Head of Internal Audit and Managing Director of ING Luxembourg. He then became Chief of Staff to Finance Minister Didier Reynders.,In 2007, he was appointed CEO of the Brussels Stock Exchange and a member of the Management Committee of NYSE Euronext. Mr. Colmant became Deputy Managing Director of Ageas Insurance Company in 2009 and then joined Roland Berger as a partner.
Bruno Colmant graduated as a commercial engineer at Solvay Business School and obtained a Master of Science in Industrial Management from Purdue University. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Tax Sciences from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Fiscales and a Doctorate in Applied Economics from ULB. He is a member of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Letters and Fine Arts of Belgium and is an independent director of the University Hospital of Brussels.
